Pitcher Mountain CSA (PMCSA) welcomes back Farmer Ryan Karb! Ryan has years of experience working on CSA farms. He recently graduated from the University of Massachusetts where he studied sustainable agriculture and earned a degree in Plant, Soil and Insect Sciences. After apprenticing at the Hampshire College Farm Center and the Simple Gifts Farm and CSA in Amherst, MA, he was hired last year by PMCSA as our full-time farmer. We have been awed by his enthusiasm, knowledge and results. His hard work has produced a bounty of market sized, organically grown, delicious vegetables, plus flowers and herbs. Plus a few fun, exotic teasers like edamame and kohlrabi! We are looking forward to another delightful season this year.
