Working Shares Information

Many hands make quick work

For those of you have have decided to spend some extra time up on the mountain, working with other like minded people to provide quality produce for the community garden, your work requirement is ten hours during the season.

May, June and July are the most labor intensive months in the garden and we depend on working/educational shares to get the garden prepared and planted! Working/Education shares should plan on working 2-4 hour shifts. Weekend workdays will be scheduled. There is almost always a need for extra hands on Monday and Thursday mornings and afternoons as well.

We request that at least half of your work hours be completed by July 30th. If this is a hardship please speak to Andy to make arrangements, otherwise you will lose your working share status and be billed for unworked hours at $10/hour.

You may call Farmer Andy Pennoni (832) 326-2616 to schedule other times for you to complete your hours.
